Pepa London x Historic Royal Palaces
A Celebration of Royal Childhood and British Craftsmanship
Pepa London is proud to unveil a limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, the independent charity that cares for sites including the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Kensington Palace — honouring royal childhood and the timeless traditions of British ceremonial dress. The Pepa London x Historic Royal Palaces capsule collection will be available this July at pepalondon.com, Pepa London stores in Belgravia and Palm Beach, as well as a dedicated Pop-Up space in Harrods in Knightsbridge. A rare union of heritage, design and storytelling, this limited-edition collaboration invites families to dress their children not only in beautiful clothes, but in living history.
The collaboration was born from an extraordinary opportunity to explore the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection, cared for by Historic Royal Palaces at Hampton Court Palace. With almost 10,000 items dating from the 16th century to today, this nationally important collection reveals not only the grandeur of royal life, but its more intimate, personal details, reflected in everything from state robes and gilded coronets to hand-stitched nursery garments. Among the most fascinating pieces were a pair of matching Liberty ™ print floral cotton dresses worn by Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret in the 1930s. These childhood pieces, symbols of early sisterhood and gentle formality, now feature in the acclaimed Dress Codes exhibition running at Kensington Palace until 30 November 2025 — and serve as a direct reference point for several pieces in the collection.
