Description

In 1923, in Fiesso d’Artico, just a few kilometers from Venice, at the heart of Italian shoe-making tradition, the Rene Caovilla history began. For over a century, Rene Caovilla has been captivating women worldwide with luxury Italian shoes. Inspired by the beauty and magic of Venice, designer René Fernando Caovilla combined the artisanal experience of his father, Edoardo, with his own touch of innovation and uniqueness, bringing a couture twist to the company. Influences like the mosaics of San Marco, the lace of Burano, and crystal chandeliers showcase the visionary artistic genius of René Caovilla. Italian craftsmanship, talent, and excellence: Rene Caovilla shoes perfectly embody the spirit of the times. In 1968, René Caovilla transformed a Roman snake bracelet into the legendary Cleo design, displayed at the MoMA in NY.
